3 ways to get more bang for your buck

3 ways to get more bang for your buck

You should never compromise on quality in order to achieve good value for price; and residential property is a prime example of this.

Your apartment should tick all the boxes for premium location, boutique complexes, large floor plates, stunning architectural design and impeccable finishes, to name a few. You may be surprised to know that it is possible to secure all this for the same price (or very close to) what is commonly known as "investment grade" apartments.

Things to look for:

  1. The building should be architecturally designed, unique and iconic. Imagine two buildings right beside each other, one with stunning detail and the other a plain rendered box - where would you rather live?
  2. Look for well thought-out open plan layouts with generous floor plate sizes, higher than average ceiling heights and large multi-purpose outdoor living areas. Large commercial grade windows and doors for maximum natural light and ventilation are also important.
  3. Internally, there should be high quality European fixtures/ fittings/appliances, stone benchtops, full height tiled bathrooms, feature ceilings and lighting, separate laundries, and ample additional linen and storage space.

These are just some of the factors you should look for in a quality apartment. To find out more visit our website or register here to receive our quarterly newsletters, industry news, tips and updates.
